Easter + Christmas tie for my all time favorite holidays, with Halloween coming in as a close second. Easter has bunnies, candy, pastels, baskets, egg hunts…what more could you ask for? Oh, and Easter always comes with a stellar Target dollar section display. And this year may just be the best one yet. I was able to decorate my room with only $13 dollars, and you can too!
Last year I bought an adorable ceramic bunny for $3 and she’s back again this year! I put jelly beans in her last year but I have yet to deep clean her so there’s just eggs in there for now. Is it weird I’m calling it her? Yes, probably, but I really do feel attached. It’s so cute. (Fun fact apparently Target doesn’t have dollar section stuff online so I can’t link to anything but let’s be honest, it’s WAY more fun to get it in store anyway.)
Next, I couldn’t resist this incredibly cute ceramic basket because, well, it went so well with my baby bunny. Add some “grass” + eggs and there ya go!
Then I bought cute lil egg holders to one day repurpose for a fancy brunch with my husband and three children, Blair, Leo, and Wes. Yes, I bought five in anticipation of children that are not yet anywhere near the horizon. #babyfever
I also bought some jelly beans because yum amirite except I was like ah I’ll be healthy and only get one bag even though they’re two for $4… Yeah, let’s just say I needed the second bag.
Long story short, after posing my steals for these obviously posed photos, I stuck ’em on my shelves and called it good. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Happy Easter, loves
